Generally speaking, you can use any well written FTP client to access your hosting account.  There are several well known clients that we will point out:

1. FileZilla is a freely avilable Open Source Client.  Details can be found on their website: http://filezilla.sourceforge.net
2. WS_FTP is also a well known FTP client available for a price.  Details can be found on there website: http://www.ipswitch.com/
3. CuteFTP is also availbel for a price.  Details can be found on their website: http://www.cuteftp.com
